CONFORTEL Almirante

Via Layetana, 42, Barcelona

Hotel located in Via Laietana, in the Gothic Quarter and in the city centre. Just 5 minutes walking to the Cathedral and the famous Las Ramblas, next to Palau de la Música and 10 minutes walking to the Port of Barcelona. A few steps away from Picasso Museum. It's located in a privileged area for tourism. Our restaurant specializes in Mediterranean cuisine. All our rooms have balconies and most of them look out on the sea. All have AC, heating, TV, phone and safe.

15 km to the airport, 200m to Urquinaona underground station. Via Layetana to Plaza. Cataluña From the airport take the C-32 motorway to Barcelona. Once in Plaça Espanya, follow Gran Via Avenue to Pau Clarís St. (street on the right side of Gran Via Av.) Go down Pau Claris St. to Urquinaona Square, from there Via Laietana begins and it is where the hotel it's located. Coming from the A7 highway, exit 68 towards San Juan and later towards “Playa”. Coming from Alicante, follow direction Campello through the coast road. Coming from the airport follow direction Valencia, Pueblo de San Juan and finally “Playa”.

    Modern hotel in good location, although it is situated on a very busy road. Virtually across the street from the Cathedral and a few minutes walk from Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya. Taxi rank 50 yards from Hotel. One thing to note. Laterooms page shows check-in and check-out at 10a.m. This is not so. Check-in time is 2p.m. so we were quite disappointed as we selected this Hotel due to early arrival in Barcelona.

    Great modern hotel, in a fantastic location. Centrally located to everything. Tour bus stop very near to hotel.

    Very helpful Reception staff and clean comfortable rooms. Position of the hotel is excellent for walking to all areas of Barcelona.
