Very slow service at breakfast by restaurant staff let this hotel down. Courtyard rooms well appointed, clean and well decorated.

The hotel is handily placed on Hagley Road, a short distance from the City Centre.....the room was very small, but everything was there, and the breakfast menu was superb, food was too, and considering the price I paid (on a late availability deal) the value for money was excellent. It's the second time I've stayed here, and I'll have no problem staying here again!!

This was a lovely hotel, with rooms which appeared to be recently refurbished. Very clean and attractive rooms. Helpful staff and good facilities. I had a slight problem with the hot water in the shower, but staff assured me they would get this sorted. Very good value for money.

Very friendly staff - nothing too much trouble. The room, (in the annex) while obviously having had a good deal onf money spent on it wasn't quite right... Things like having a carpet in the bathroom - no proper shower - although it did have a bubble bath installed, beige carpet throughout the room and bathroom showed every mark that had been left by previous residents. Room was cold when we got there but was sorted out immediately by staff. Weird, cold bar area. We only stayed there one evening but the room was clean, bed ok, and breakfast ok as well. The owners have obviously tried really hard on getting the hotel to a good standard and they do most things right but not everything. I would probably stay there again but not exactly cheap at £70
