From Barnstaple (A361): On entering Ilfracombe at the first set of traffic lights turn left towards sea front, then at the next set of traffic lights turn left and left again. This brings you into Torrs Park. Continue along this road and you will find us on the right at the top of the hill. We are on the other side of the road from the star, near the junction with Upper TorrsFrom Combe Martin (A399): At the second set of traffic lights in Ilfracombe High Street turn right into Northfield Road. At the next set of traffic lights go straight across and immediately turn left into Torrs Park. We are at the top of the hill on the right. On the other side of the road from the star, near the junction with Upper Torrs

Not every hotel owner offers to babysit your baby, but that's what happened at The Norbury House. I was staying on business, but had my baby with me, so asked if there was any babysitting available so I could have a run. They said 'no'. But then rang me back to say they had a friend staying and they were sure they could manage the baby between them for an hour. They were as good as their word. I loved this B & B. I thought it was stylish and really friendly with a great position in Ilfracombe. The only slight niggle was that the breakfast scrambled eggs were microwaved, so a bit rubbery and the room I was in was small. But it was great value. They even put a fridge in my room specially so I could chill the baby's milk. Highly recommended.

Very freindly especially for the children. Breakfast was lovely and fresh. Would recommend heartily to anyone looking for a quality break but doesn't want to break the bank.
