The spa and golf hotel was built in 2003 and renovated in 2004 and consists of 4 floors and 109 rooms of which 70 are doubles and 39 are suites. The lobby contains a 24-hour reception, a cloakroom, a lift, a TV room, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area and highchairs for children, a conference room, WLAN Internet connection, car parking facilities, a garage as well as a kids? club and a playground. Room and laundry services are both available. The hotel also has a large garden.

Directions to Ria Park Garden Hotel

Leave the airport and drive for approximately 3 Km until you see signs for Faro and Portimão. Turn right towards Portimão . This will bring you to the main coast road - EN 125 . Continue for approximately 4 Km until you see signs for Loulé and Portimão. Turn right towards Portimão and continue straight ahead for approximately 3 Km. You will see a sign for São Lourenço followed by a sign for Almancil on your right. Turn right following the sign to Almancil. Drive for a further 600 meters until you reach Almancil . When you get to Almancil, you will see signs for Vale do Lobo . Turn left at the second set of traffic lights. After approximately 500 metres you will come to a fork in the road and will see signs for Vale do Lobo. Take the right fork and carry on for approximately 4 Km until you come to a junction with Quinta do Lago signposted to the left and Vale do Lobo to the right. Turn right following the signs for Vale do Lobo. Take the second turning on your left at the Ria Park signs. Carry on for approximately 2,5 Km until you reach the “Vale do Garrão” Archway. Go under the archway and continue straight on until you reach the second junction. Turn left at the second junction and continue for approx. 200 m where you will see the Ria Park Garden Hotel on your left.

    Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good time, even arranging the free shuttle bus to take us to a local restaurant and collecting us after. Staff suggested lost of things for my age group to get involved with.

    I would say the hotel was more suited to couples than families. Beautiful grounds and pool to the hotel. Would definitely visit again.
