Leave the airport and drive for approximately 3 Km until you see signs for Faro and Portimão Turn right towards Portimão This will bring you to the main coast road - EN 125 Continue for approximately 4 Km until you see signs for Loulé and Portimão Turn right towards Portimão and continue straight ahead for approximately 3 Km You will see a sign for São Lourenço followed by a sign for Almancil on your right Turn right following the sign to Almancil Drive for a further 2 to 3 Km until you reach Almancil When you get to Almancil, you will see signs for Vale do Garrão and Vale do Lobo Turn left at the second set of traffic lights After approximately 500 metres you will come to a fork in the road and will see signs for Vale do Garrão and Vale do Lobo Take the right fork and carry on for approximately 4 Km until you come to a junction with Quinta do Lago signposted to the left and Vale do Garrão and Vale do Lobo to the right. Turn right following the signs for Vale do Lobo and Vale do Garrão. Take the second turning on your left at the Ria Park Garden Hotel and Vale do Garrão signs. Carry on for approximately 2,5 Km until you reach the "Vale do Garrão" Archway. Turn right before the arch and Ria Park Hotel & Spa will be at your left.

Flying from Bournemouth to Faro, this hotel was very conveniently placed. We only intended to start our holiday touring the Costa de la Luz from there, but we enjoyed our stay so much that we went back for a couple of days before flying home. The hotel itself was airy and spacious, a beautifully landscaped garden surrounded the pool, everywhere was well maintained. We ate in both the restaurant and the bars and found the food very good. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful...we would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning.

Super hotel in a lovely setting, beautifully landscaped gardens...set in a quiet, residential area. The dramatic beaches just a few minutes walk away...with a handful of cafes and restaurants serving very good seafood. The hotel facilities were good, not all open as it was not high season, but the indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym were all available and good. The food throughout the hotel was of a very high standard, we had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, and ate at both hotel bars. Room service was efficient too. However, for us, the most impressive part of our stay was the standard of service from every member of the hotel staff. The porter, the people at reception, the bar staff, the cleaners, the gardeners, the waiters and waitresses, right up to the manager himself, all of them made our stay enjoyable. We booked in for three days, intending to travel on...but returned for our last three days before flying home. We certainly hope to be back.
