Very enjoyable stay, excellent deal from laterooms, very good hotel, location is a bit out of the way, but the facilities and service are top quality, food in the restaurant was very reasonably priced and of an excellent standard. would definitely stay again |

Large, international-style hotel, something of an oddity in being located in the same building as a hospital, although this doesn't really impinge on hotel guests. Standard four-star bedroom, including a sofa, was perfectly acceptable. The only niggle was that the bedroom was not very warm, even after a man had come to look at and adjust the heating. Helpful, friendly staff. Food in the evening was of good quality, but I have marked it down overall because a four-star hotel has no business leaving the cooked breakfast out on a hot plate - it ought to be prepared to order. Twenty four hour service was useful - returning late I was able to get a pint of beer and beans on toast at midnight, served in the lobby! |

Mini Bar in room not cool but in fact made the drinks warmer!! One of my faviourite things in a room is a fridge as I do not drink tea or coffee but cold drinks. Leisure facilities were excellent but lacked a swimwear dryer which are usually provided at other hotels that I have stayed at. |

Breakfast was £8.95; the cooked part was average and very greasy but the rest was fine. It was a grand building and the interior had a high star feel about it. The train station was a five minute walk away and it was only 20 mins to the centre of Glasgow with trains running every half hour on Sunday. |
