Directions to The Crown Spa Hotel
From York: Follow the A64 which will bring you into the heart of Scarborough and to the Railway Station. At the Railway station turn right, go through the traffic lights and over the Valley Bridge. Take a sharp turning left once over the bridge which should take you up 'Belmont Road' and continue up the hill to the cliff top. The Crown Spa Hotel is on your right. From Whitby (North): Follow the A171 which will again bring you to the Railway station in the Town Centre, follow the above directions to the Hotel. On foot from the Railway Station: Turn right out of the station and right at the crossroads. Walk past the traffic lights and over the Valley Bridge. At the end of teh bridge turn left and walk up the hill - 'Belmont Road'. The Crown Spa Hotel is on the cliff top on your right. The journey by foot should take no longer than 15 minutes. quality of room was poor furniture propped up with plywood . no extractor fan in bathroom . the room looked like it could do with a good clean and makeover. |

I felt that the room was very tired looking and was definitely showing signs of abuse from previous guests. The TV was ancient and the tuning in left much to be desired. |
