Good location in St. Andrews, next to one of the town's few free car parks. Recently modernised, pleasant bar / restaurant area with large screens permanently tuned into Sky Sports. Restaurant provides modern menu with a good selection of reasonably priced meals. Rooms are well appointed with good en-suite facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.
In terms of value this is a cut above the bog-standard small hotel / B&B at a cost well below the town's swankier hotels.
As I remember this used to be the Tudor Inn - it has come on a long way since then but although modernised there are still creaky floorboards in the upper floors. Do bear in mind that you are getting a room above a fairly popular pub bar. I'm not saying its particularly noisy but some sounds do seem to carry through the building.

The location was perfect for touring or golfing. The rooms were spacious, modern and spotless. The bar was well stocked with a large variety of draught beers and the staff could not be faulted.
