Close to The Seine but on the out of town side. I was struggling to find a hotel near my office in Suresnes. By know what I woudl stay here again anytime. I think it would be a nice "non-tourist" base for a tourist visit. Local businesses and schools etc gave the area a non tourist and very "day to day" paris feel. Attractions are not so far away and Metro links are good. 1st impression of the hotel "Staff were great". Hotel is compact with rooms of a stairwell with the traditional small lift to each floor. Room was warm and spacious, bed comfortable, LCD TV a nice touch. Public areas down stairs looked inviting in a traditional kind of way. Never sampled the food so no opinion. Final impression of this hotel Staff were great! Very supportive of my anglophile non French speaking persona (how strange for Paris). Couldnt help enough including being 20 minutes on a phone to get me a taxi to the office. |

First morning, up early to go to Disney, the restaurant was full, had to wait for 10 mins to get a seat. No cups, plates, cutlery - had to ask. Had to wait for food to be replenished (seems to be short staffed in a morning). Usual fare - croissants, bread, baguettes, ham, salami, cheese, choice of cereal - either cornflakes or muesli, yoghurts, jam butter, tea, coffee, orange juice etc. If you want a boiled egg...make sure you get up early and down for breakfast first as they do not replenish these!! Also breakfast cost 9 euros per person, my roomrate included breakfast thankfully, but would have been unhappy to pay that amount for what was available. Was in room on top floor at front of hotel - building in front has bell that chimes (loudly) every 15 mins from 7am - 10pm - so if you want a lie-in then make sure you are not at front of hotel. Large room had 3 single beds (room 664) and still plenty of room to move around. Staff friendly and helpful. Very small lift - would fit 2 adults and 2 cases - just about!!! Lift only stops on odd number floors....so you either have to walk up or walk down one flight of stairs. All-in-all it was a good hotel - but we were out most of the time! Very close to Metro on Line 13 at Mairie de Clichy stop, literally less than 1 minute walk. |

Great value for the money. Very good customer service. Very cheap hotel car park (garage). Delicious breakfast (tasty and fresh). 1 min to underground. 20 mins by tube to the city centre. |

Locked carpark so great if going by eurotunnel or carferry. Lift only stops on even numbered floors so a few stairs if on odd! |
