Quiet country hotel; overall excellent; staff very attentive and friendly; food outstanding in terms of quality and presentation - perfect for the special occasion although expensive for captive audience hotel guests staying more than one night. Great for a treat though!

Excellent room with good degree of comfort and a television that you could actually watch either in bed or from the chair. The Table d'hote menu was first class and in my view nicely balanced between haute cuisine and comfort food Staff, particularly Sam were very attentive First class breakfast even if it was a tad on the pricey side

A treat of a hotel. Pleasant owners, wonderful building and distant enough from any civilisation to create the perfect, romantic get away. Excellent food!
