Food, very good, breakfast excellent. Accomodation and bar in need of refurbishment, lots of thread bare carpets and chairs and broken tiles in the bathroom but clean.

This is a lovely place. The only reason we have given the quality of room a low mark is because the beds were very uncomfortable. Way too hard after a long walk.
Everything else was delightful. Lovely atmosphere.
We would love to stay again.

The room was small and tired and the bathroom poky, and it was incredibly noisy due to very close proximity to a busy road. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent but in general I think it was an expensive stay for what it was.

In need of a good lick of paint, rooms very small but adequate, glad only stopped one night though. Had to be back before 11 so we could get in which felt like we were on a curfew and constantly watching the time all evening.
