East Midlans Airport is only 12.5 miles from the hotel and can be reached by taxi, car or bus. To get to the hotel by car from East Midlands Airport, follow the signs for Nottingham A453 At the roundabout go forward. Travel 0.8 miles where you will see Donington Park Services. At the roundabout take the 1st exit (signposted The North (M1), Nottingham). Travel 1.6 miles to the junction with A6/A511/M1. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (signposted Nottingham South). Travel 2.3 miles further, Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station will be on the left. At the next roundabout take 2nd exit. Travel 4.2 miles to the edge of Clifton. In 1.1 miles branch left (signposted Grantham A52), then travel to the junction with A52. At the roundabout take the 1st exit B679 In 0.3 mile there is a mini-roundabout, continue forward. Travel to the Junction with B680. At the mini-roundabout go forward (signposted West Bridgford). Continue on 1.3 miles to West Bridgford, at the traffic signals turn left A60 (signposted Nottingham). Travel 0.4 miles to "Trent Bridge Inn". At the traffic signals continue forward. The hotel is 1.18 miles further along the road.      Just a short stroll from Jurys Inn, Nottingham Train Station is located on Station Street.

Hotel first class, staff very friendly eg, booking taxis etc. nice bar nice clean and modern, only one down point is parking but plenty on parking close to hotel and hotel supply shuttle bus free of charge to local ncp car parking. I found hotel very good value for money and I will use it again.

Food (breakfast) let down by appalling hot chocolate from the machine...thin, watery, tasteless...
Otherwise a reasonable buffet breakfast. Would have complained, but didn't have time for another cup anyway.

The receptionists were very friendly and chatty, professional, courteous, offered lots of information about Nottingham, furnished us with maps. They offered/ insisted on ordering our taxi into the centre of Nottingham and came to let us know in the bar when it arrived.
The bar was quiet, the barman smart and friendly. There seemed to be a mix of people both business and pleasure. There is a secure car park, although you do pay extra for this, apparently the alternative is a two mile walk! The room was basic but very comfortable and the bathroom was really clean, the only complaint there was the bath was very shallow (like a lot of hotels). However, for an over night stay we found it excellent.
