Hotel du Vin and Bistro Brighton

2-6 Ship Street, Brighton

Hotel du Vin Brighton is situated in the Lanes conservation area, a stone's throw from the seafront. Its 37 bedrooms are housed in a collection of eccentric, gothic revival and mock Tudor buildings erected, appropriately, by a wine merchant on the site of an old Brighton inn.Among many interesting features are the heavily carved staircase and bizarre gargoyles, whilst the original double-height hall now houses the wine bar overlooked by the billiards and cigar gallery.
Please note we do require a minimum 2 night stay at the weekend.

Can't fault the hotel. Got upgraded to a room with two roll-top baths in the bedroom and a sea view. I've stayed in the smaller rooms too and they're lovely, but this room was divine. Had dinner in the hotel one night and the food was second to none. It's not cheap but well worth the cash. Had breakfast room service which was gorgeous. I can't wait to return

Hotel was lovely and thefood and service was excellent. Only one criticism - parking was somthing of a problem and it would be good if the hotel had allocated parking spaces nearby for guests to use.
