The hotel it's self was lovely. However the staff failed to warn us of the Christmas Party that was going on untill 12.30am which was rather noisy.

Beautiful hotel - everything excellent. At a very very reasonable price.
Only the floorboards still creak.

What a gem of a hotel! We had drawn up a list of what we wanted for a romantic night away from our young children - elegant surroundings, a relaxing atmosphere, comfortable spacious room (room 3), friendly staff and delicious food. The Old Rectory delivered all this and more! We absolutely loved it and can't wait to return.
