If you can get a deal the value is better. In the middle of nowhere so if you stay and drink at the hOtel it gets pricey @3.70 per drink (even for J2O juice.) |

I stayed in four country house hotels in England and Wales recently, and my room at Tre-Ysgawen was by far the nicest of the lot. It was spacious and elegantly appointed. The hotel's public rooms were splendid, ditto the grounds. My travel companion's room was likewise. We thought this was an extraordinary value for money. We had dinner at the more casual wine bar restaurant, and the food there was not great, but good. Cannot speak for the more formal restaurant. Definitely would recommend to others. |

What a gem of a hotel! The spa was fantastic and very quiet - I had the entire swimming pool to myself! The staff were incredibly friendly without being intrusive. I shall definitely stay in this hotel again next time I have to go to Anglesey and have already been recommending it to family and friends. |

An enjoyable stay in a luxurious hotel. The spa facilities were excellent. Our meal in the Clock Tower was excellent. |
