A excellent and friendly hotel. Both staff and owners were fiendly and attentive. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the restaurant was probably better than Michelin star establishments |

A wonderful rural retreat, charmingly surrounded by all the activities of a working farm, though without the smells and the noise. Service was superb with very friendly welcoming staff, and the room though not luxurious was charming and comfortable. The whole place had a family atmosphere and the traditional Devon farm house that forms the core of the Hotel/Restaurant is cosy and a beautiful example of its type. Lovely riverside walks nearby. Althoughtucked away down a little lane, it is not difficult to find. Easy access to Totnes, Dartmouth and the Torbay area. The food was outstanding. We definitely hope to make a return visit sometime and will recommend it to friends and family. |

We had an excellent break, food was fantastic, location very good, room not 4 star but clean and had everything we needed. didn't like the fact we had no window in the bathroom, only a fan, shower ran cold when washing my hair had to finish in cold water. Breakfast very good. Overall very happy. |
