Bedrooms seem pretty standard, but the bathroom was excellent - perhaps they are part was through a refit! Very handy location for the Gare du Lyon. Quiet and clean with polite staff.

Super close to Gare de Lyon, a 4 minute walk douwn Rue de Lyon, very convienent. Rooms were clean and comfortable, hotel staff was ver y friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay At Hotel Corail. The room size was completely adequate (I heard rooms sizes in Paris were tiny and cramped) and the bathroom was roomy. Everything was very clean and it was also very quiet. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings and bedding were new. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but when we did they were friendly. Security was good. They lock the glass sliding door at night, but simply ring the bell and someone immediately lets you in. I would definietly stay here again, especially if you can get a cheap rate. We paid 50 pounds a night. The area is quite nice, too. It is just a few minutes walk from Gare de Lyon, about 8 minutes from the Bastille. From CD airport it took about 45-55 minutes, maybe, by RER, changing at Chatelet Les Halles. There are many cafes and restaurants around. We skipped the breakfast and headed for the cheaper cafes. Sitting at the counter we got un cafe and helped ourselves to the croissants at on the bar. They'll total up all you've eaten when you are ready to go. If you are doing a lot of sight seeing look into the Forfait Loisirs. We went to Versaille for the day with this ticket from the Translien (?) train company for 26 euro and it included return train, entrance to the palace, Marie-Antoinette Domicile, and the gardens, which are normally free, but we went on the weekend and there was a special water fountain show. It also gets you past all the long queues.
