The food was very well cooked and presented. Nothing was too much trouble. We liked the informal, friendly atmosphere and found Mr. Roper's local knowledge very helpful. |

Very friendly owners, great breakfast and a font of local knowledge. All their advice - whether it was local restuarants, local sights or advice on hill walks was very sound and useful. The room was charming and of a good size with great views, but the shower was a little disappointing and could do with changing for a more powerfull version. |

This B&B is in a prime location. The walk into town down the cycle path only took 10 minutesand you end up at the leisure centre which is great if you have kids. The breakfasts were superb and set you up for a long day's walking. A torch would be advantageous for the walk into town on an evening, so I recommend that you take one along. A very pleasant place to stay and good value for money. |
