Derwent Hotel

42 Palatine Road, Blackpool

We offer warm, friendly and cordial guest accommodation. With rooms containing, full central heating, digital TV in all bedrooms, free internet access in the bar. We provide guests with a hearty, traditional full English breakfast. We also cater for families, groups both large and small and up to 28 person coach parties. We have a strict non-smoking policy within our hotel.
Coupling excellent food with swift service, it is little wonder we have been awarded a 3* and BAGS award!
Situated within a few minutes walk from the town centre, sea front, theatre and clubs. Nearby the lake-district offers a stark contrast to Blackpool’s attractions in the shape of beautiful countryside and stunning landscapes.

Me an my 10 year old daughter both enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will be going back to stay there again next year. It is in a very central location for everything we wanted to go to, visit and see. Chris the owner was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Looking forward to our next visit.

The Hotel was really nice and the manager made it a very pleasurable stay. He had a good knowledge of the area and was helpful when we were deciding where to go. In addition he told us about how we could save money and we both purchased a VIP wristband which were well worth the money!

The hotel was ideally situated within walking distance of the Central Pier with large family showbar, Blackpool Tower and big attractions and only a short taxi journey to the railway/ bus station. Hotel was spotless, and rooms although small had all amenities required, en-suite bathroom with lovely warm shower and clean fluffy towels daily and T.V. and tea making facilities. Breakfast was also scrumptious and plentiful. Chris the owner was very informative and helpful during our stay and nothing was a problem for him. On returning from a show one evening he happily opened up the bar , put on some music and was happy to engage in conversation with the other guests. A genuine nice guy who greets guests with a real cheery welcome as well as waves them off at the end of their stay. A real bargain for money as well!
