Dating back to the second half of the 18th century. The Wheatsheaf is set on the edge of Great Windsor Park, just a stones throw from Virginia Water Lake. Today the Wheatsheaf ia a traditional & charming Hotel with competitively priced hotel accommodation.
It is the ideal place to come and relax for both buisness & pleasure, whether it be a weekend break, a business stopover, conference or private function.
Local attractions include Wentworth & Sunningdale golf courses, racing at Ascot, Savil Gardens, Thorpe Park & Guards Polo Club. The Wheatsheaf is also ideally situated for visiting Windsor and its attractions.
The Wheatsheaf is conveniently close to Heathrow Airport, approx 20mins from both West London by road and London Waterloo by rail.
Our Menu is wide and vaired offering everything from a quick snack to the finest cuts of fresh meat and fish, and all complemented by our extensive drinks range including specially selected wines from around the world and 'Cask Marque' accredited real ales. Roaring log fires in the winter go along way to making a warm and homely atmosphere and we have have ample outdoor heated seating for al fresco dining.

Woke in the morning to find old drink (tea / coffee) stains on wallpaper next to bed? Room comfortable and check out very pleasant and helpful. No breakfast in rate! Good value for UK and location excellent for early morning walk beside the lake.

Overal good but it was acold night and the room heater was not working as was one light bulb. Shame because otherwise the service was very good

Only a four for customer service as the lady serving breakfast was not very friendly and one morning i was waiting 10 minutes before i was served. The reception desk was helpful and the bar staff friendly. Only slight problem was the noise of the bar coming through to my room, but it wasnt an issue after two pints of lovely guinness.

Room was on the front facing A30 and there was a lot of traffic noise from about 5am onwards i'm afraid, despite double glazing. This would put me off staying again

The Hotel was very nice. Room was large comfortable and clean. Food in the bar was excellent and great value for money. Staff were very friendly.
