Balcony House is Located on the North side of Kendal about 10 mins walk from the town centre. You will find a good selection of public houses and restaurants on your walk to town.
We offer you a warm welcome to our Victorian home. Our rooms are clean and comfortable, decorated to the highest standards. Free use of local hotel pool/spa/gym. TV/DVD player in all rooms. Free use of internet available in guest lounge.
Parking is available directly in front of the property. Full English or vegetarian breakfast is included in the price of stay.
Kendal is the gateway to the Lake District and the perfect base for touring north and south.

Watch for Porche garage on your left and Duke of Cuberland pub on Right. Balcony House 500yds on Right, just before pedestrian crossing. Travelling. South. M6 Junction 39 for Shap. Follow signs for Shap and Kendal. At T. Junction follow signs for Kendal. 15 miles. As you enter Kendal, school playing fields on left hand side. Immediatlely after pedestrian crossing, Balcony house is on left.

Nicely presented B&B with a welcoming helpful hostess. NIce touches in the room and everything done to a high standard. En suite space for me as a larger person a bit tight, but it had good towels/toiletries etc. Lovely to have a sofa in the room and breakfast freshly cooked and tasty. Will stay here again when next in Kendal.

Excellent home from home, very nice stay with excellent friendly service and attention to detail, immaculate. Breakfast, plentiful, good choice in lovely dining room. Top rate and worth every penny. (For what it is worth we also enjoyed a nice bar meal in the nearby Duke of Cumberland Pub and the food, staff and service were excellent and great value !)

Very friendly and welcoming. Balcony Room was lovely but would have been on the small side for two people with alot of luggage.
