I stayed in a very comfortable single room in Hotel Bristol Stephanie. The staff were very efficient and friendly. My LateRooms offer did not include breakfast so I popped down to the EKKI restaurant nearby each morning for a delicious/healthy breakfast. The area is lovely with all types of shops on offer from bargains to top end luxury. Perfect for window shopping of an evening. Very close to the hotel are several streets with open air restaurants. Compared to some of the restaurants around the grand plaza, these restaurants provide excellent tasting and good value Belgian dishes. It's always a safe bet when you find the tables around you are filled by tourists and locals alike. I would recommend Hotel Bristol Stephanie and this area and neighbouring Ixelles. As a female visitor , the locality felt very safe. I would also say for those who travel to Belgium purely for work a visit to Hotel Bristol Stephanie (on a LateRooms deal) is an ideal way to unwind and be charmed by this beautiful, quirky and friendly city. Don't miss the Expo exhibition in the Atomium - well worth a look! |

The Hotel was extremely quiet and staff rarely seen, the light and kettle did not work in the room either. On return from a restaurant we could not get back into the hotel (approx 1.00am) and had to ring the door for approx 20 minutes until a night cleaner came to let us in. The Porter was very friendly but the reception staff/bar did not seem to be interested in customers. Overall good location and good value for money, I would not rush back to this hotel though |

Have stayed at this hotel many times. Next to the Conrad it is my favourite in Brussels. You can get some super discounts at this hotel and the rooms are always large and well maintained. |
