The hotel is in a pleasant situation. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was fine, bathroom not so. Room advertised at £350 per night, we paid approx 50%, which was about right. Breakfast poor. |

Always wanted to stay here but it was always £300 plus. Finally got it for £100 on late rooms but was very disappointed. The room was very tired. Air con didn't work properly and plug had no chain until they belatedly fitted string to it. Lounge menu highlight was "something on bread" but frankly the bread is awful. Food was pretty poor. Had suckling pig which i was really looking forward to after a fabulous one in Spain. It came out on a slate was thinner than wafer thin had no taste and was served with what tasted like pureed apple as served to babies. Staff were helpful as far as they could be although my air con still didnt work properly after asking two mornings running. It is in a nice spot but got to say would never go back. Shame as I really wanted to be wowed by this place |

Really lovely, booked very late, and still made a excellent saving on the price quoted on the hotels website. I plan to stay here again. |
