The hotel was lovely rooms really modern and clean. Food was great for a pub. Staff training for breakfast was shocking very slow and disorganised. Its baisically rooms above a pub very noisey at weekends with music. Check out very very informal you just leave your key ! |

Car parking is chaos, with cars piled in double parked and even treble parked , so when you need your car , god help you! |

If you want a B&B in the middle of Ambleside, this is ideal. Noise from bar was negligible but then we were on the 2nd floor. Showers aren't powerful despite the size of the shower-head but ok. Staff in bar were very friendly. Breakfast is supposed to be at 8.30am but if you go down slightly before, you beat the crowd and they start serving you. Car park is a tight squeeze, and there's double parking so if you need to get off early in the morning, I'd park elsewhere. We had to delay our exit while the person blocking everyone was found! |

The room was very nice, modern. The hotel overall was excellent, only thing letting it down is the carpark, its too small and you find that people park in front of you, causing problems for you to get out. Apart from that it was great, would stay again. |
