I booked a double room for occupancy by 2 people and was presented with the smallest room I have seen with a 4 foot bed, not even a double! There was no room to walk round the bed which was pushed against a wall to provide some space between the desk and the bed. When I complained I was told all rooms and beds were this size.
The literature states that all rooms are in the main hotel but doesn't explain that this is not the building pictured but a modern annexe. They also state that all rooms overlook the grounds. A prime view of the car park was not what I expected.
Downstairs there was a coffee point with a few pastries on a tray complete with fly!
A truely disappointing experience and a waste of money.

Room was clean and adequately furnished, though carpet was stained in places. Found the choice of evening meal (3 starters, 3 main courses, 3 desserts - no extras, no decaff coffee!) in the restaurant very limited and therefore most disappointing. Breakfast, however, was very good. Pool was tiny. At £90 for the room and £27 for the 3 course meal, felt it was poor value for money and for this reason, would not stay there again.

Staff are fantastic
The food is lovely
The rooms are basic and small. The TV is a small portable and had a bad reception
Workmen started work at 7am in the room opposite mine. This is good as they are upgrading but was bad for me as I was woken early.
