the wonderful appearance of the hotels aspect was surpassed by the warm welcome on our arrival; the reception given to us was exeptional. our room was beautiful, warm, clean and inviting we had everything we could have wished for. a one night stop over was too short and would have gladly stayed for a month. Thank you so much York House you deserve a five star rating. |

Stayed for 3 nights. Our room had plenty of space, and had the benefit of a settee and easy chair, as well as a mini kitchen area: microwave, fridge and sink. Our hosts were excellent in looking after our needs, giving local advice for places to visit and how to get there. The quality and choice of food (breakfast only) admirably matched or exceeded many of the more expensive (and less personal) Hotels especially those beloging to the big chains. We would have no hesitation in staying there again ourselves or in recommending the Hotel to others. |

This hotel was outstanding in every possible way - comfortable bed / plasma tv / microwave / fridge / kitchen area with cutlery / excellent decor / luxury bathroom. It is a faimly run hotel with excellent customer service ( how many hotels do you visit where they offer to take your bags to your room and to your car when you check out ). |

It was great to have a sink, fridge and microwave in the room. Didn't make it down to breakfast so the manager offered to send us off with a bacon sarnie which was a really nice gesture. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but wouldn't put me off going there again, they have parking out the front or a the back of the hotel which is a bit tight if you have a big car. |
