The Old Coach House is located in the centre of the historic and scenic village of Thornham, with easy access via the A149. All the bedrooms have been tastefully decorated to enhance the charm of this old building. The hotel comprises of 12 en-suite rooms, restaurant, lounge and bar.
The Old Coach House is the sister hotel to The Lifeboat Inn, situated a 10 minute walk away or 1 minute drive. The Lifeboat Inn, with all its charm of a 16th century smugglers alehouse, has magnificent views over Thornham’s meadows, harbour and the sandy beach beyond.
Check in and out is at the Lifeboat, so please make your way to the Lifeboat Inn reception upon arrival.
The bar, restaurant and menu have all been designed to create a relaxed and leasing dining experience. To reach us from London, take the M11 to Cambridge, then head for Kings Lynn, via Ely, by following the A10. On reaching kings Lynn take the A149 to Hunstanton, then follow the signs to Thornham, along the coastal road. once in Thornham follow the main road (the A149)until you come to staithe road. Turn down Staithe road take a right tuen down ship lane.

Helen gave us a very warm welcome. Food and service was excellent. The only thing missing on a cold November night was a blazing fire like the one in the lifeboat.

Very friendly and helpful staff.Room was a little on the dark side and the bathroom could do with updating.Cleaning could have been better in the bathroom.A cracking breakfast and some good real ale!A pleasant place to stay.
