Ardmore Hotel

The Ardmore Hotel is a brand new purpose built hotel which opened in June 2005. This contemporary styled hotel offers 96 superbly appointed bedrooms, the Premier Bar, Cream Restaurant and complimentary parking. The Ardmore is located a mere 2.5 miles from the City Centre (with regular bus routes in to the City) and only 4.5 miles from Dublin Airport. It is also located only 5 minutes drive from the M50 motorway which provides one with a super base to tour around Ireland.The interior of this property is modern and elegant with leather furnishings and floor to ceiling windows. The service is however traditional, warm and friendly and exactly what a visitor would expect to find in this hospitable City.

    10 -15 with the bus from city centre with the 40 service (running every 10min right in front of the hotel)- no late service though, warm & cosy and all you need from a hotel plus the price is good.

    overall hotel was exceptional for price. was up to a five star hotel if it was in centre of dublin. location also suited us as we were visiting family in the area.

    Overall was a very nice hotel. Just a short 10min bus ride from the city centre. (40 or 140 from Parnell Street). Was good value for money, although the breakfasts weren't included in the price and seemed a little expensive. The food in the bar was very nice and good value for money. The room was strangely hot although we turned the radiators off - we had to open the window a lot of the time, though outside we were wearing hats and gloves! There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and a free ice machine in the corridor - good for drinks.

    Nice modern hotel with good security and clean, also very helpful staff.
    Could do with more information for tourists looking for places to go and things to do.
