We were extremely pleased with the Manor House. It was closer than we thought to the centre of Bath. The owners were brilliant, very helpful and welcoming. They had suggestions for restaurants, taxi firms, bars etc... Our room was fantastic, exactly what we needed and like a home from home. We'll definitely be staying here again when we return to Bath. |

The Manor House is pleasant and is located in a lovely quiet village. Excellent food 3 minutes walk away. Room furnishings were basic but acceptable. Because of this, I felt it was over-priced. |

This really is a beautiful manor house nestled in a lovely valley. If you want the best of both worlds - small historic city and rolling countryside - this is the place to stay. The taxi from Bath station costs just under £9 and takes just under ten minutes. Considering a bus costs £3.50 for a single, this is not bad value. Especially since the buses only run every half hour - every hour on Sunday (or not at all if you plan to take the one near the Wainwright pub). |
