The Longforgan Coaching Inn

we booked 2 twin rooms at longforgan, the single beds in each room were very narrow and lumpy with springs sticking in your back, heating was on in the room when we booked in , in the afternoon, but on returning after work at 23,20 hours the heating was off and the rooms were freezing, breakfast in the morning was in the main building, which was a cold room and smelt of cigarrette smoke i wouldnt stay here again,

Rooms could do with upgrading, but for the price was fine for somewhere to sleep for the night. Food was excellent (quite cheap) Very friendly Staff and Locals in bar.

Hotel easy to find. Hotel very, very dated. In need of clean and re-decoration. Food very basic and not of good quality. Area surrounding hotel very smoky. Smokers standing in the front door way, also the restaurant area doors were open and smokers were just stood there.
The room - very basic. Extremely dirty and dusty. The room looks as if it had been hoovered around the main area only. Wash hand basin in the bedroom, not the bathroom. The smell of cigarette smoke filtered through from the courtyard so the room smelt of smoke. The mattress on the bed must have been the thinnest I have ever seen.
We arrived at 7.30 pm after a very long day and the room fulfilled a room for the night, nothing more.

Impressed by friendliness and helpfulness of young chef and bar staff made us feel very welcome. Food very good and reasonably priced. Very relaxed stay. At dog charity event and felt dogs welcome rather than being a nuisance. Will definitely be back. Thanks to all1
