By Underground: Travel to Paddington Station by Circle (yellow) Line, District (green) Line, Hammersmith & City (pink) Line & Bakerloo (brown) Line. Exit in Praed Street and you will see Garfunkel's Restaurant across the road, which forms a part of the hotel. Cross the road and walk along Praed Street, past Garfunkel's Restaurant and the hotel entrance is immediately on your left. (1 minute walk) By Rail: Almost all main rail terminals are on the Circle (yellow) Line. From these take the Circle Line to Paddington Station. From Waterloo Station take the Bakerloo (brown) Line to Paddington Station. Follow directions as above. By Road: Take the M40 (becomes the A40M) into central London and exit just before the flyover following the sign to the West End. At the lights turn right into Edgware Road. At the second set of lights turn right into Sussex Gardens and follow this through a further set of lights, turning right into Norfolk Place. At the top of the road turn left into Praed Street and the hotel is on your right immediately after the Post office and immediately before Paddington Station. From the M4 leave at the Hammersmith exit and follow the one way system and turn left following signs to Shepherds Bush. At Shepherd's Bush, go around Shepherd's Bush Green and follow signs to the West End, this will bring you through Notting Hill Gate and into Bayswater Road. At the one way system around the Royal Lancaster Hotel, take the second turn on the left into Westbourne Grove, the first turn on the right into Sussex Gardens and the first left into Spring Street. At the top of Spring Street turn right into Praed Street and the hotel is on your left, immediately after Paddington Station. By Air; From London Heathrow take the Heathrow Express Train: direct high-speed trains run between Heathrow Airport (all terminals) to Paddington Station. Trains depart every 15 minutes and journey time is 15 minutes. Follow directions as above. Taxis from London Heathrow cost from £35.00 and from Paddington Station approximately £3.00. From London Gatwick. The Gatwick Express leaves from Gatwick Airport to Victoria station. Trains depart every 30 minutes and journey time is 40 minutes. From Victoria Station take the Circle (yellow) Line to Paddington station.Follow as above. Taxis from London Gatwick cost from £75.00 and from Victoria Station approximately £8.00, depending on traffic. From London Stansted. The Stansted Express leaves from Stansted Airport to Liverpool Street Station. Trains depart frequently and journey time is 30 minutes. From Liverpool Street Station take the Circle (yellow) Line to Paddington station. Follow directions as above. Taxis from London Stansted cost from £75.00 and from Liverpool Street Station approximately £12.00. From London City a shuttle bus leaves frequently to Canning Town Station. From Canning Town Station take the Jubilee (silver) Line to Paddington station. Follow directions as above. Was upgraded to executive suite, but smaller than I thought. Would expect a toothbrush at least for this rate of hotel. Main thing is - it's conveniently next to a tube station. Restuarant open too late in the morning. But there were 24 hrs convenient store nearby. I ordered room service - my hot chocolate came first.....then........about 20-30 minutes later....after i 'd finished my drink - the meal came...

Was not impressed ny being woken by cleaner at 9am.Position excellent.Next door to paddington but no noise from Station.Room very small but immaculate and staff very helpful.Would stay again but would upgrade to larger room.

Clean room with all facilities required... small but perfectly formed! Staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Only disappointment was the limited radio avaliable (specifically I wanted radio 4!)

Small room but it is in a great spot for connections. Staff were very helpfull and quickly moved us to a higher room which was much quieter when we requested it. Rooms were comfortable and spotless which is so important.
