There was no sign outside with the full name on It just said s station,so it was difficult to find. Also there was a one way system which meant that even after I got out of the car and asked in the resturant located beneath on the groundfloor,my husband who was driving still had to negotiate the route. It was worth the climb up all the stairs to our cosy room. I would stay there again as the situation is ideal for a visit to Liverpool and we could come and go as we pleased. |

This was more like a dorm than a hotel . It's basically a restaurant that has a few rooms . Once the restaurant closes (5pm) you're on your own . The double bed was comfortable but the room was in dire need of refurbishment . The area is very peaceful and it's 30 seconds walk to the train station . It suited my purposes fine (stag weekend) but might not be everyone's cup of tea . |

I was extremely upset and disappointed at the quality of this suite. After climbing 60 stairs we were shown into the room . The furniture in the room was beyond belief, two odd stand chairs two odd armchairs not evan a wardrobe but 4 coathangers in a canvas put up wardrobe the dressing table had never seen a duster or any polish, there was a small mirror but no easy access to a socket. The tea and coffee facilities were situated on tatty bamboo table the carpet was black in colour but had been hoovered. One good thing the bed was clean you can be sure I checked it.... There was a skylight window which we couldnt open although the room was hot incase it rained. The shower had a not very clean curtain and the sink was one you would see in a cloackroom. The mezzanine ?????? consisted of a dirty carpet and a broken chair all in all pretty dismal to say the least. The door to the hotel was dropping to bits and needed more than a coat of paint. I suggest you visit this establishment unannounced you will then realise the honesty of my comments. |
