Everybody says there is something magical about Millbrook! Lakeview is a luxury open plan apartment, named due to the fantastic view from the full length window in the lounge area. The accommodation comprises of an open plan living space with full kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, tassimo coffee maker and fridge freezer. The lounge has an 37 inch sony LCD TV with freeview, bose HiFi and DVD player, Nintendo Wii, squeezebox, telephone and free WiFi Internet access as well as views over Millbrook and the lake. The bathroom includes multifunction shower, Jacuzzi bath, mood lighting and heated floor. Lake View has a garden with bbq area, table and chairs and steamers to lie down and watch the world go by. Please note that Lakeview is not all on one level and has steps to access the front door and garden from car parking level. Millbrook is situated within 32 acres with lakes (coarse and fly fishing onsite), woods, wildflower meadows, and streams to explore. Our guests can while away the hours in our hot tub in the woods, free of charge. We are close to the village of High Bickington that has 2 great pubs serving good food and real ales. Both within a 12 minute walk. Millbrook is a fantastic location for exploring Exmoor, Dartmoor and the North Devon Coastline. Nearby you will find lots of things to do and see. Please note American Express is not accepted.

We are situated approx 15 miles from Bideford and 12 miles from Barnstaple Directions Leave the M5 at Junction 27 (Tiverton) and take the A361 towards South Molton. Head through South Molton and follow signs for Torrington. Once in Atherington follow signs for High Bickington. As you enter High Bickington, there is a traffic calming system. Immediately after this turn right into a road called Barton Meadow. Follow this road until you get to the bottom of the hill (approx 1 mile) we are located at the bottom of this hill on the left, with a large gate and drive.

Lakeview was a fantastic location for a night away, all the little touches! The grounds were beautiful and everything far exceeded anywhere we have stayed before. We will be back staying again later this year but definately for a lot longer!

It was a little out of the way but the surroundings were very peaceful and nice and the hosts were very friendly.

Never thought that somewhere like this existed!!! A real gem. We absolutely relaxed, perfect weekend retreat. They have thought of everything and we were made so welcome when we arrived. We will definately return. (I don't really want to tell anyone about this place - want to keep it a secret!). Ps the hot tub was amazing!!!!
