Very easy to find, right on the A3. Loads of parking. Friendly, flexible staff. Great steak and ale pie! On check-out we were charged the room-only rate because we'd got up very early and had only had tea/coffee and cereals - much appreciated. My room was along the corridor away from the main bar / restaurant area and was nice n quiet, but my friends' room was closer and they had a few noisy neighbours. |

The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was excellent and the room was very clean. The only thing we found could have been better was the general condition of the bathroom, although clean it did have mould between the bath and tiles and could have done with a refresh. |

Generally an OK place. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and big enough, although the toilet seat needs replacing and some of the grouting was black. The food in the restaurant was very well prepared and tasty. The only disappointment was my sweet. i ordered Chocolate Nenises. This turned out to be an average slice of chocolate fudge cake with vanilla icecream (should have been coc.) with chocolate sauce. Very tasty but not worth £5.50. The breakfast was superb. Staff were freindly although did not always understand what we were saying. |
