I stayed on "The Level" in an Executive Double Room. Having a private check-in was very much appreciated as there was a coach party in the main reception when I arrived. Very clean, comfortable room. Everything worked and attention to details was very good, except one small thing; the shower hose needed replacing and looked strangely tatty and out of place in what was lovely surroundings. I cannot fault the room otherwise. I wanted to fill in the satisfaction survey but it was missing from the room folder.The private lounge for "Level" guests was very good, the free Tapas, from 1800-2100, were excellent and there was plenty of them. Giving free drinks during this time is an enjoyable difference in the modern world. Staff were attentive and very efficient.
The Longford is very comfortable and staff again very good. The L'Albufeira Restaurant is also very pleasant and the staff were very professional. My two complaints, yes only two!;
I thought being a Spanish Restaurant in a Spanish Hotel I would be able to get a good version of one of my favourite dishes; a really good meat/seafood Paella. There are approximately 6 to choose from on the menu. I was soo disappointed with what I recieved I eat a few forkfulls and left it. It reminded me of a Vesta packet product. My Scallop and squid starter was tasteless and the Spanish "Rice Pudding" tasted like a watery tinned version. The wine the waiter recommended was a 35 pound screw top and just undrinkably acidic. One of the worst meals of my life. The Manager didn't charge me for the wine or the Paella, which I appreciate, but what a disappointment. Real shame.
Second gripe is the policy the hotel has of including a service charge on every bill in the bar and restaurant and having it presented as if one must pay it. I quizzed the staff and found out that it is discretionary, but if you say no they have to re-do the whole bill as it is already in the total. It does say Disc Grt, (or something like that) on the bill, but very small writing. I always tip, but I don't like the way the hotel does this. They don't need to. This is a very comfortable well run hotel with good staff. When I checked out would have been nice to have been asked if I enjoyed my stay, but this is a very small thing. Great Location.

Very good customer service, executive (the level room) was excellent. Hotel is in a great location, with tube across the road. Hotel was quiet and clean and very welcoming. Breakfast was very good, food could of been a bit more hotter and plates were cold and really need to be hot if you are having a cooked breakfast. Very good hotel, would definately stay here again.

Very friendly reception staff. Was offered an upgrade for £30 per night but didn't feel it was necessary. Superbly located, bit pricey but then it is in central London and a stone's throw from a tube station. About the only hotel in the area that I could find that includes breakfast in its price.
