I understand that most bad reviews are written by people who are never happy with their accommodation but this hotel is awful!! I paid £60 for this hotel which is a complete rip-off considering we were given a room which had not even been cleaned yet. There was hair all over the floor and bed sheets and the bedside tables still had drink stains from the previous guests, it was disgusting!! The night before we had stayed in a B&B for £18 a night which was 10 times better!!! Do not waste your money on this hotel!!! |

The Hotel is probaly the worst i have ever stayed in anywhere in the world and that includes third world countries. Dirty rooms- condoms and dirt on top of wardrobe. Evidence of vandalism in the room poorly repaired. Smokey brakfast room. Poor food. |

The hotel was so awful I left after one night though I was booked for two. There was no heating in the room and it was freezing. A small electric heater was given but made the room very stuffy. I had to get up in the night and put some clothes on to keep warm. The lock in the door didn't work too well and the chain was broken. The reception areas was filthy with windows that hadn't seen a duster for years. Dead plants lay in dirty planters. The only good thing was the staff who tried to be helpful. I changed to a hotel down the road which was offically only one star but was four star in comparison. |
