very quiet as down a country lane, relaxing atmosphere, very clean, presentable room, good standard of decor, would stay again and reommend

This is a great hotel and our room was lovely. the bathroom was fresh and clean and the food in the restaurant was fab.
the only down side is that if you decide to stay in the hotel for the evening, the restaurant is fairly "stuffy" with very little atmosphere. It was in fairness a fine dining restaurant but whispering is not my idea of a relaxed night. The bar only had a handful of couples in it and was full of Chesterfield sofas and chairs - again a bit like a gentlemans club. I enjoy staying in nice hotels but prefer a more relaxed atmosphere. If they achieved this they'd have it cracked!

I've said it all by my ratings. My wife and I thoroughly appreciated everything about Dunsley Hall and its staff. We were made very welcome and felt very comfortable there, living in the lap of luxury.

We felt our room should have a shower! Having a roll top bath and hand held shower is not convenient!
