Good bedroom with comfortable bed, but poor soundproofing and cramped shower room. View over cricket ground didn't amount to much. Lack of flexibility over breakfast start time made for a bit of a rush to get to meetings. Collection from station offered on web site but clashed with breakfast so not available at the time, no lift to station offered at end of stay. Owner solicitous and efficient but perhaps over-familiar for private people. Overpriced for single occupancy. |

Although small, our room to a high standard of cleanliness/decor and very suitable for our few nights stay in Torquay. Proprietor welcoming, friendly and informative. Hotel ideally situated with a short walk to the coast and town. |

We thought the room was a bit small considering it was called a Superior Room, but apart from this our stay was very pleasant and friendly. |
