Bear right onto the A186(Westgate Road) following the signs for Newcastle Central Station and the Centre for Life. Westgate Road then splits, bear onto Neville Street. This road then becomes Westmorland Road, the hotel is situation on Westmorland Road and St James Boulevard. SOUTH from A19 northbound, at Gateshead turn left onto A184 westbound towards Newcastle City Centre, in approximately 5 miles turn right onto A167 northbound then left onto A186 (Westgate Road) following the signs for Newcastle Central Station and the Centre for Life. Westgate Road then splits, bear onto Neville Street. This road then becomes Westmorland Road, the hotel is situation on Westmorland Road and St James BoulevardEASTContinue along the A184 heading westbound heading towards Newcastle City Centre, once in the City the A184 is called Westgate Road, continuing along this road follow the signs for Newcastle Central Station and the Centre for Life. Westgate Road then splits, bear onto Neville Street. This road then becomes Westmorland Road, the hotel is situation on Westmorland Road and St James Boulevard WEST from A69 continue until this road becomes the A186 (Westgate Road) heading towards Newcastle City Centre turn right onto St James Boulevard then left onto Westmorland Road. hotel staff were excellent but room was extremely hot, a lot smaller than expected and only air 'cooling' rather than 'conditioning' made for a very uncomfortable evning / night despite relatively mild temperature outside.

Unfortunately an ex-smoking room with distinct odour that transfered to my clothes. Not able to change as hotel full, although staff courteous when contacted.
Adjacent car park very well designed & safe for a lone female arriving late evening.

The hotel was easily accessible from the motorway whilst still being city centre, very clean, very helpful staff only downside was having to pay for parking.
