From A1M Follow signs for MetroCentre. Take exit signposted Consett A692 Whickham B6317 and Teams. At roundabout, turn left signposted Consett A692 then take right hand lane to mini roundabout and turn right for Whickham on the B6317. This takes you onto Front Street Whickham. After 2 sets of traffic lights, turn right at Oddbins,and follow road round to car parking at rear of hotel .

this hotel is excellent very helpful and friendly staff we did not eat in the restaurants so can not comment but the room was warm and very clean the bed was huge and very comfortable we will be staying here again great value for money would (and will) recommend to anyone |

Nothing special but for the price it was okay. I was given a room at the back which was ice and quiet. |

not sure why I have to leave a comment here either, yes it ws OK. There are better for less in Newcastle but they are not all child friendly. Didn't try the food, there was an Indian next door that smelled amazing, didn't try that either. |
