If, like me, what you really want is a decent room attached to a pub that serves up reasonable beer and unpretentious pub food, then this is the place for you. The rooms are in a recently built annex therefore they are of a decent size and fairly well-equipped. Food was good and the whole deal through laterooms was a real bargain.

I have stayed in many places like this over the years and they always dissapoint in some way but this one didnt. Very nice food and beers but also a genuinly friendly service.
I would recommend the Inn to anybody.

Very helpful, arrived very near closing time of restaurant but was assured I would still be able to get a meal after going to room and changing. Food and beer very good and would definitely stay here again.

It is not often these days that true customer care is to be found. I am not talking about the minimal type that ticks the right boxes for survey results; I am talking of the type one used to experience, before hotels became characterless chains manned by poorly motivated staff.
Indeed, this small family operated, pub/restaurant/accommodation establishment exceeded my expectations. As I was arriving late, the hotel rang to ask if I would like a sandwich and what type to be ready when I arrived. Indeed it was waiting, together with friendly service that evening, and again for breakfast and check out the next morning.
The room was spacious and clean with a nice bathroom, TV and tea making facilitates. Overall a pleasant experience.If I need accomodation in this area again I would stay here.
