A basic hotel with excellent location for a night out or shopping in Stirling, not luxurious but clean and well kept. |

The hotel were doing some refurbishments and we were obviously in a room that was still waiting to be done. Out of the way, windows didn't close properly. If we had been paying full for this we would have complained and asked for one of the rooms that was displayed at the entrance to the hotel. |

Having read a few negative reviews, I was apprehensive, but to no avail. We paid slightly extra for an Executive double room, and ended up getting what we believe to be the Bridal Suite....3 piece suite, wall mounted-plasma television etc. Great!! |

Some previous reviews might put people off, but I found this hotel to be more than adequate. Room was clean, warm and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well worthit, hot, fresh and plenty off it. Bar in the evening was very relaxing. Good range of bars, shops and restaurents nearby. Would sta here again, very good value. The only downside is that in some small areas, the hotel looked a little tired, but this is a working area, and you will always see scratches and the odd torn bit of wall paper- a good clean value for money hotel. |
