The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel

Horns Cross, Bideford

The Hoops Inn is a 13th century thatched inn steeped in history and full of character. Superior rooms feature antique four-poster or half tester beds and the Mallow suite also has a gorgeous double jacuzzi! Standard coach house rooms are well furnished and are all en-suite, overlooking the gardens or courtyard. The excellent food is cooked using local produce, complemented by an extensive wine list and a range of local real ales and cider. Food is served in the restaurant, bars and also in private dining rooms. Walk directly onto the coastal path from the hotel car park and experience this fantastic coastline. You will be back!

no hot water for shower but made up for it with spa bath.staff friendly and helpful.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very much at home. We stayed in room 5 which has been recently refurbished and it is lovely. Very nice walk-in shower but no bath. Also this room has free view TV. Only problem was the noise from the restaurant below but went quiet around 10pm. Would stay again.

Lovely charming Inn.Very characterful.We stayed in a premier room,had huge bathroom and good sized bedroom.
