I have now stayed at Anston Hall 3 times on business. The hotel rooms and facilities are excellent and the staff pleasant and helpful. The restaurant and menu are also excellent , (if a bit pricey). I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Anston Hall to business colleagues or relatives as a very comfortable hotel....../ |

This hotel is much better than the 3 stars it is rated at. Getting the superior room at LateRooms prices - awesome. Lovely room - I'd be happy recommending to anyone. Very good food in the bar - didn't use the restaurant. The prices are a little steep for food and wine. Breakfast was good. Like a previous reviewer, I could only complain about the tea at breakfast! For such a great hotel, the only odd thing is that they don't serve tea in a pot to your table, like nearly all others - they expect you to go to a shared table and brew the bag in the cup with water from flask - just lets down the whol experience. Otherwise, I really couldn't fault the place and will definitely stay again. |

The hotel is less than a mile from the M1 and easy to find. Large carpark right outside reception. My standard double room was in the new West Wing and was large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is large and again tastefully decorated with heated towel rail and the best power shower I have ever used in a hotel room. Complimentary toiletries, sewing kit, shoe shiner and a range of tea and coffee. The bed was really huge with fresh white linen. Only problem with the bed it was two joined together which would make for an uncomfortable night for two of you. Complimentary wifi is really useful for a business trip. Loads of lighting options in the room. 24 hour room service which was fast and the food was wonderful if perhaps slightly pricey but the savings on Late Rooms made it worth it. There is a gym on site across the car park which has two running machines, two bikes, two cross trainers, two rowers, free weights and benches and shower facilities. The gym room is nice and clean with a flat screen TV and doesn't appear to be used much which is nice. I can't comment on the hotel breakfast as I didn't have time to stop either day. The staff team are very young but seemed professional and eager to help. |

Wonderful room - big bed, well furnished, clean, good pillows etc etc. In the West wing which was very far removed from the main facilities, kitchen and reception. This distance didn't work well when we used room service - food very average and we did not get all that we ordered. Enjoyed our stay but would have valued a little more service. |
