The Hotel was everything I hoped for. The restaurant food was superb and whilst not cheap was well worth the cost and the staff at both reception and resaturant were extremely considerate and helpful - as well as efficient. I'd highly recommend staying here if you want comfort and service with your atmosphere. I had one of the cheaper rooms and it was well worth the extra 10 pounds more than the other hotels in plymouth. |

Breakfast was good but we didn't dine in the evening. With Late Rooms.com we had one night B&B for £55 which was the best value stop over we have ever had. This is no ordinary hotel, ghosts are everywhere but appear friendly! If you have the opportunity to stay here then take it. |

I ate in the bar this time and the food was as good as the restuarant. Great if you want a snack and something a little less formal. |

lovely hotel. Staff very pleasent and food delicious. Only thing it would be nice to have hot chocolate, tea or herbal tea in the rooms as only coffee and nothing else, but if you ask for it the staff will give you some. |

We love this place as it has such character and history- it has a shabby chic feel to it and is worthy of a visit. We have returned at least 4 times and would recommend it as an alternative to soul-less hotels. |
