OK so the room was small but in this part of town people live in smaller flats. Everything worked, the place was spotless, and the staff were great. Will go there again.

A very nice, clean, freindly hotel in a good location for South bank theatre. Will certainly come back!

Arrived at this hotel and the staff were most accomodating. We discovered that there were no batteries in our TV remotes and this was rectified quite promptly. I managed to lose my companion (who had the room key) through the course of the night and the staff were most helpful, although there was only 1 key they had no problem letting me into my room so i could sleep.
There was a bit of a smell on the ground floor but i believe that this was a plumbing problem as i heard other guests discussing being moved out of ground floor rooms whilst at breakfast the next morning.
Have seen reviews advising that this hotel is in a bad area but this is not the case. Possibly the people who experienced this travelled from Elephant and Castle station which is a place that I don't feel comfortable in after dark but the trip from Borough station was along a busy well lit road and I did not feel at all unsafe.

Wasn't dirty. Cheap place to sleep. Good location close to London attractions.
