Located in the Diagonal Mar neighbourhood ( Forum ), a short distance from the “Mar Bella” beach and a few metres from the new Forum 2004 Palace of Congresses and the Diagonal Mar Shopping Centre. From Airport: By road: take the C32 that will turn into Ronda Litoral when getting to Barcelona. Continue along Ronda Litoral and take exit 24 signposted Diagonal Mar. Turn left at Josep Pla, continue forward for 500mts. By train: take the “cercanías RENFE” train to Plaza Catalunya. Once there and outside the station, walk for 100mts to Plaza Urquinoana and take line 4 (yellow line) at the underground station, to Selva de Mar. The hotel is located a few metres away from the underground stop. By bus: take the shuttle service Aerobus to Plaza Catalunya. Follow instructions above.. From Estació del Nord (Bus Station): take line T4 tram at “calle Marina” stop. Jump off at Selva de Mar stop and the hotel is located a few metres away.

    The hotel is not "meters" from the metro... expect a 7 minute walk so if you've heavy bags you may want to consider a cab. Otherwise very pleasant modern building without being OTT on decor. Was surprised staff did not rates for outgoing calls back to the uk and recommended buying a phone calling card. Excellent setting for the CCIB convention area and mall. Wifi not cheap (and only works in foyer) but rooms equipped with internet TV and LAN for €9/15 for 24hrs.

    Easy to get to from the Metro/Undeground.
    Excellent Hotel and good standard of facilities.
    Pool was closed during our stay due as it is only open in the summer season.
    Would probably stay somewhere more closer to Passeig de Garcia or Le Rambla if I was to explore Barcelona further - These would be a better base in my opinion.

    It's just a 5 min walk to link up with public transport from the hotel and so we felt the Vincci condal mar was in a great position. We found the metro/tram an excellent service. Also, it takes around 15 mins to walk right up to the beach front and then along the promenade into Barcelona, this was a really pleasant thing to do.
    Room very clean with good facilities and staff at the reception quickly and efficiently dealt with any queries we had.
