One of the slightly nicer hotels in Blackpool. A quiet North Shore location in close proximity to the sea allows a tranquil and peaceful stay. Hotel features a delightful hotel bar and restaurant serving hearty, delicious food off an extensive menu. Although we are a small hotel, we have a big reputation for our fabulous food! Our breakfasts are particularly, something to savour offering an exceptionally expansive list of options varying from a full English to cold cuts and smoked salmon. Our bar serves an array of branded bottled and canned beers and various other beverages. We provide our guests with a selection of morning newspaper from out hotel reception and free 24 hour wireless Internet access. We like to think we have our guests every need or want taken care of! The hotel is now completely en-suite and all rooms are central heated with tea/coffee making facilities, TV/DVD combo, iron, ironing board and hairdryer as standard. No parking restrictions to front of hotel. Ideal for couples, families, and conference delegates and great for romantic breaks! Easter, Christmas and New Year are always special when spent with us. No smoking hotel albeit small rear beer garden subject to weather and bar opening times. No stag or hen parties please. Our generous discounts are based upon genuine hotel rack rates. The bar is usually closed on Mondays, and an alternative extensive selection of take-away menus are used throughout July and the illuminations. We provide all crockery and cutlery free of charge.

M55 Then follow directions for North Shore. Holmfield Rd is behind the Casino and Uncle Toms Cabin on Queen's Promenade. If you get lost, the Tower should be behind you with the sea to your left. We are a several hundred metres past the Hilton, just after the Savoy and behind the Cliffs Hotel. Unrestricted parking is in front and around the hotel. During illuminations and other busy times, offload your luggage outside the front door and we will help to park your car.

Small rooms are the only downside to this B&B. However the service from the owners makes up for this. They will bend over backwards to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast is cooked to order and is par excellence. You can relax in the small bar or one of the other public rooms. Dinner is available and they offer a unique service of getting in a take-a-way and providing you with the crockery and knives and forks. The hotel is situated in a quiet area north of the North Pier and one block back from the sea front.
I will be keeping this B&B in my address book for future visits to Blackpool.

Great location, just off the prom on the North Shore. The owners are lovely people and make you feel very welcome. the rooms are large enough for a couple. The breakfast is excellent. For the price, you will not find better, we've stayed there the last three years. Previously to that we stayed int he cliffs, which is just 1 minute walk away and twice the price. There is no comparison between the two for friendliness, quality of food and value for money, the New Guildroy wins hands down!!

i booked this hotel for my family consisting of three children and my wife and myself. after reading other reviews felt very confident about this hotel. The hotel and room was very clean with crispy white bed sheets, the room had magazines and a PS2 and games for the children. The owners where very pleasant polite and helpful. The breakfast was to an excellant standard and additionally they catered to fussy needs of my children which was gretaly apprecaited and demonstartes how good the owners and the hotel is. i would defintely book again to stay here again.

had a very good stay for 2 nights the food was 2nd to none we couldn't have asked for any more we would recomend this hotel to anyone and we will be staying there again in the near future
