This is a great little B&B set in clean and tidy grounds just outside of Stratford. The room was larger than I imagined with rustic exposed beams and exposed brickwork. The bed was huge and was very comfortable. It has the feel of a small family run place with everyone pitching in. The cooked breakfast was excellent every morning, although a little too greasy. Theres a pub just up the road if you want a quiet pint and theres a bus route that goes past the end of the driveway that will take you right into the Town Centre. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I would definatly go back. |

we found the rooms to not be very well soundproofed, which meant you could hear the room next door bumping & banging around. this was a little off putting as we had hoped we wouldn't be able to hear anything around us. |

A pleasant enough hotel, which was very clean and tidy. However, a bit on the basic side of things and miles from anywhere. I was hoping for alittle more atmosphere, with the beamed rooms and converted barnhouse description, but although from the outside it is picturesque, the interiors are mothing special. Breakfast was also a little disappointing, with my baked beans looking decidedly over cooked each morning. There was also no greeting on arrival, which left you very much to your own devices on finding local places to eat in the area etc. Also, being on a mian road, traffic noise was a slight issue, but parking was ample. Another thing to bear in mind is that there is nothing nearby, it was a 20 minute drive into Stratford. Not a good location nif you are relying on public transport. |
