Stayed one night while on cycling tour. Didn't expect too much for £55 B&B, but very pleasantly surprised. Excellent location, right next to the seafront. Very efficient, welcoming front desk staff. Well appointed room, in excellent condition. First class restaurant, with charming staff. Very stylish public rooms and the best bars in Bournemouth on the premises (1812 and another with nightclub). Will defintely stay here again and would recommend to anyone |

when we finally arrived at the hotel after long tail backs on the roads, and on the hotest day of the year todate, we had a slight problem in finding the car park entrance as there was a lot of people standing on the pavement outside the (bar so) enjoying a drink as it was so warm, so after a couple of tours round the block we saw another car go in to the hotel and followed them in, at last we had arrived !! once we had got inside the hotel it was nice and cool and very clean,we checked in and found the reception staff very plesant and very helpfull, when we went to our room again we where impressed with the size of the room and again it was nice and cool,we didnt have an eveing meal but we did have a snack in the (bar so) which was hot and plentyfull and the breakfast was very nice in the morning, all in all it was a short but very nice stay and i would definately stay there again with a longer stay in mind. |
